Junior World Hockey Championship. Sweden and Czech Republic played a dramatic match for the gold medal
The U-20 World Junior Hockey Championship in the elite league in the USA has ended.
The final match for the gold medal was played by Sweden and the Czech Republic, and the Swedish hockey players won with a score of 4:2 in a dramatic game.
Sweden won the match 3-0, but in the final minutes of the third period the Czech Republic managed to get two goals back, but missed another goal from the siren and lost.
The Swedish team won gold for the third time in history and the first time since 2012. It was the first time a European team won the cup since 2019.
Team Canada won the bronze medal match.
