The Swedish national team defeated the Czech Republic and won gold at the Junior World Hockey Championship

The Swedish national team won the World Youth Hockey Championship, which ended in the USA.
In the final of the tournament, the Swedes beat the Czech team with a score of 4:2. For Sweden, Kasper Juustovaara, Viktor Eklund, Sascha Boumedienne and Ivar Stenberg scored, while for the Czech Republic, Adam Jiříček and Matej Kubiesa scored.
Magnus Heuvelig’s team won seven of the seven matches in the tournament.
The Swedish team won gold medals at the tournament for the third time in history. The Swedes previously won in 1981 and 2012.
Team Canada won bronze, beating Finland in the match for third place (6:3).
