Russian defenseman Yegor Zamula has signed a contract with the NHL club Columbus, the player’s agent Dan Milstein reported on the X network.

The agreement is valid until the end of this season. According to Puck Pedia, the player’s salary will be $1 million.

Previously, the 25-year-old player was traded from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. After this, the Russian defender was suspended due to failure to appear at the Pittsburgh farm club. He was then placed on waivers to terminate his contract. Zamula went through the waiver draft process and became a free agent.

In the 2025/26 season, the hockey player scored 1 (0+1) point with a utility indicator of “+4” in 13 matches for the Flyers.
