NHL. 5 points for forward, 233 goals for Stamkos, wins in Vegas and Boston
After a 10:2 win against the New York Rangers yesterday, Boston managed to beat Pittsburgh 1:0 and extend their winning streak to three matches. Goaltender Jonas Korpisalo stopped 27 shots, and the Bruins rose to 5th place in the league.
In the West, we’ll celebrate Nashville’s 3-2 victory over Washington with a power-play goal from Steven Stamkos. The striker, who scored 233 goals, was among the top 10 scorers in the history of the League.
Vegas defeated San Jose 7:2 on the road, as forward Tomas Hertl scored two goals and had three assists to earn five points in a game for the first time in his NHL career.
The Golden Knights won for the fourth straight year and led the Pacific Division.
