Junior World Hockey Championship. The first semi-finalists of the tournament have been announced
The first quarter-final match of the U-20 World Youth Hockey Championship was played in the elite league.
As expected, the Swedish team continues the tournament undefeated by beating Latvia. While the Swedes won the tournament with a score of 6:3, Anton Frondell, one of the best forwards of the tournament, scored a double.
The other quarter-finals will feature the Czech Republic and Switzerland, the USA and Finland, as well as Canada and Slovakia.
