Ovechkin on the match with Dallas: “We didn’t put enough pressure on the opponent”
Washington’s Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin was dissatisfied with the team’s performance in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match against Dallas.
The meeting ended with the Stars winning with a score of 4:1. Ovechkin scored the only goal for Washington.
— I think we made a lot of mistakes in the central zone. When we delivered the puck into their zone, we did not put enough pressure on the opponent, and also did not help each other very well,” the NHL press service quotes Ovechkin as saying.
Washington is seventh in the Eastern Conference standings with 50 points.
