Florida Bobrovsky knocked Ovechkin out of the Stanley Cup

The Washington Capitals lost to the Florida Panthers in Game 6 of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoff series. The winner of the meeting was determined in overtime.
The winners included Ryan Lomberg, Claude Giroud, Alexander Barkov and Carter Verhege. The winners’ goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky saved 34 shots.
The capital club scored Nick Dowd and Niklas Backstrom. Evgeny Kuznetsov made an assist. Alexander Ovechkin and Dmitry Orlov were not marked by effective actions. Goalkeeper Ilya Samsonov saved 25 shots.
Florida won the series 4-2 on aggregate and advanced to the quarterfinals, where they would face the winner of the Toronto-Tampa Bay pairing.
