Avtomobilist broke the losing streak by beating Barys at home
Avtomobilist achieved a home victory over Barys (2:1 OT) in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.
Stefan Da Costa scored for the hosts in regulation time, and the guests responded with an accurate shot from Tais Thompson. In overtime, Yaroslav Busygin brought victory to Avtomobilist.
Dutch striker Daniel Sprong played his debut match for Avtomobilist after leaving CSKA, but he was not effective.
Avtomobilist broke a three-game losing streak; the team is in 4th place in the Eastern Conference with 51 points. Barys lost for the fourth time in a row and is 10th in the East (37 points).
