Vadim Shipachev was the first in KHL history to score 1000 points
Dynamo Minsk forward Vadim Shipachev was the first in KHL history to reach the 1,000-point mark.
On Monday, Dynamo hosts Admiral Vladivostok in a regular season match. Shipachev gave an assist at the end of the third period. Thus, the 38-year-old forward now has 1000 points (314 goals and 686 assists) in the KHL. He was the first in league history to surpass this mark.
Shipachev previously played in the KHL for Severstal Cherepovets, SKA St. Petersburg, Dynamo Moscow and Ak Bars Kazan. As part of SKA, the striker became a two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup.
