Russian striker “Washington Capitals” Alexander Ovechkin told who is to blame for the defeat of the capital team in the series of the first round of the NHL playoffs from the “Florida Panthers”.
In the sixth game of the series, the Capitals lost 3-4 to the Panthers in overtime and were eliminated from the Stanley Cup in the first round for the fourth time in a row.
— I think you saw how we played against the best team in the regular season. We had chances, but we just threw them to the wind. This is our fault. Mine, Backstrom, Osha, Carlson. It’s everyone’s fault,” journalist Samantha Bell quotes Ovechkin on her Twitter.
In the next round, Florida will play with the winner of the Toronto Maple Leafs – Tampa Bay Lightning.
