MacKinnon’s three assists did not save Colorado from defeat in the NHL match with Toronto.

Colorado lost to Toronto in a home match of the NHL regular season.

The meeting in Denver ended with a score of 4:3 OT (1:2, 1:0, 1:1, 1:0) in favor of the guests. Easton Cowan, Bobby McMann and Auston Matthews scored for the winners in regulation time. Cale Makar, Brock Nelson and Martin Necas scored for the hosts, and Nathan MacKinnon provided three assists. William Nylander brought the victory to the guests in overtime.

“Toronto” with 53 points is in sixth position in the Eastern Conference standings, “Colorado” (74) is first in the West.

In the next match, Toronto will play away against Utah on Tuesday, and Colorado will host Nashville on Friday.
