Goldobin’s puck brought SKA victory over the Shanghai Dragons in the KHL match
St. Petersburg SKA defeated the Shanghai Dragons in the away match of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 5:2 (1:1, 2:1, 2:0) in favor of the army team. Marat Khairullin, Egor Savikov, Nikolay Goldobin, Sergey Plotnikov and Brendan Laipsic scored goals among the winners. Kirill Rasskazov and Nick Merkley scored for the hosts.
SKA with 53 points is in seventh position in the Western Conference standings, Shanghai Dragons (43 points) are ninth.
In the next match, SKA will host Sochi on January 16, and the Shanghai Dragons will play away with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl a day later.
