Lyuzenkov confirmed as head coach of Sibir
Novosibirsk “Siberia” has approved Yaroslav Lyuzenkov as head coach, the press service of the hockey club reports.
The terms of the contract with the 47-year-old specialist are not specified. Since November 2025, Lyzenkov has served as the acting head coach of Sibir; under his leadership, the Novosibirsk club won 11 victories and rose to eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
“At a meeting of the board of trustees of the Sibir hockey club, which took place on January 15, a decision was made: Yaroslav Lyzenkov was officially approved as the head coach of the team,” the statement said.
On Saturday, “Siberia” will host Nizhnekamsk “Neftekhimik” in the regular season match of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
