Salavat Yulaev beat Lada and won their fifth consecutive victory in the KHL
Ufa’s Salavat Yulaev defeated Tolyatti’s Lada in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.
The meeting in Tolyatti ended with a score of 5:2 (3:0, 1:1, 1:1). For Salavat, Jack Rodwald and Vladislav Efremov scored two goals each, and Alexander Zharovsky also scored. Riley Savchuk scored a double for Lada.
“Salavat Yulaev” won its fifth victory in a row and, with 48 points, ranks sixth in the Eastern Conference standings, “Lada” (30) is 11th in the West.
Viktor Kozlov’s team will play Avtomobilist in Yekaterinburg on Saturday, Lada will host Sochi on Sunday.
