Nikita Zadorov received a removal for participating in another brawl, but is not going to stop.

Calgary Flames guard Nikita Zadorov has a long history with Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn. Once a Russian lost a duel to his opponent and since then he has been looking for a reason to repay the debt. And the long series of 1/8 finals of the Stanley Cup with the participation of both hockey players turned out to be an excellent occasion to finally sort things out …

So far, however, Big Z has to butt heads with other opponents. In the sixth match of the series, the Russian got into a mass brawl and dealt with Lindell, but Benn remains his key target.

Nikita has already given the signal to the captain of Dallas. Get ready Jamie!

Mass brawl at the end of the match

The series of 1/8 finals of the Stanley Cup between the Dallas Stars and the Calgary Flames still reached the decisive seventh match. Recall that the first game was left behind the “lights”, to which the Texas team responded with two victories. Then the team of Darrill Sutter again took the lead and in the sixth game could solve the issue of getting into the quarterfinals, but the efforts of Michael Stone and Mikael Backlund were not enough to win.

The score 3:3 before the decisive game in itself intrigues the fans. But the hockey players decided to work on the warm-up and staged a mass fight in the end, as a result of which three hockey players received 2 + 10. At the same time, two Russians turned out to be in the company of the remote ones at once: Nikita Zadorov and Vladislav Namestnikov.

The battle on the ice began literally out of the blue – it seems that the players just needed to blow off steam after a tense fight. As a result, one of the last Calgary attacks in the match turned into a massive brawl.

“I’ll come for you”

One of the first to grapple was Dallas defenseman Esa Lindell and Calgary forward Milan Lucic. Finn tried to perform a power move against his counterpart and, not having achieved what he wanted to the fullest, got into hand-to-hand combat. Lucic reluctantly answered, but did not show much zeal. Nikita Zadorov immediately rushed to help his partner, for whom fisticuffs are quite common.

Knowing the danger that could come from the Russian, two Dallas hockey players tried to neutralize him at once: Yakub Peterson and Vladislav Namestnikov. The Swede, however, ended up with another opponent, and the Russian striker of the Stars only briefly managed to restrain his compatriot. Lucic, who was standing aside, took advantage of the moment and unhooked Vladislav from Nikita, and Zadorov turned his attention to the instigator of the fight – Lindell. In the end, “Big Z” overtook the Finn and knocked him to the ice.

Having taught the scoundrel a lesson, the 27-year-old hockey player with a clear conscience went to the bench “for the bad guys”, along the way saying hello to his main opponent in the “Dallas” Jamie Benn. To the same Benn, to whom back in 2021, as a Chicago player, Nikita insultingly lost. If not outright, then on points. Passing the bench of the Stars, Zadorov said to the enemy:

“I’ll come for you. I will come”.

This time, the captain of the Texas team did not fall into the hands of Big Z, but in the seventh meeting, their next duel may become a reality. And many fans will wait for it no less than the game itself.
