The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in a home game of the NHL regular season.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:5 (1:3, 1:1, 3:1, 1:0). For Vegas, Russian forward Pavel Dorofeev scored a double; one of his goals at the end of the third period was canceled out. Keegan Kolesar, Tomas Hertl, Jack Eichel and Mark Stone, assisted by Ivan Barbashev, also scored.
Morgan Riley, William Nylander, Auston Matthews, John Tavares and Scott Lawton scored for Toronto.
Vegas, which won its sixth win in a row, is fourth in the Western Conference standings with 58 points, while Toronto (54) is ninth in the East.
