The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 2:1 (1:0, 1:0, 0:1) in favor of the guests.
Noel Hoefenmaier and Nikolai Polyakov scored goals for Sochi. Marat Khairullin scored for SKA.
Sochi scored 34 points and is in 10th place in the Western Conference standings, SKA (53 points) is in seventh place in the West.
