Doubles from Sprong and Boucher helped Avtomobilist beat Salavat Yulaev in the KHL match
Ekaterinburg Avtomobilist defeated Ufa Salavat Yulaev in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.
The meeting in Yekaterinburg ended with a score of 6:2 (3:0, 1:1, 2:1). For Avtomobilist, Daniel Sprong and Reed Boucher scored two goals each, and Nikita Tryamkin and Stefan Da Costa scored one goal each. Egor Suchkov and Sheldon Rempal scored for Salavat.
“Avtomobilist” extended its winning streak to three matches and with 55 points is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings, “Salavat Yulaev” (48), which lost for the first time in six matches, is in sixth place.
