Lokomotiv defeated the Shanghai Dragons in a KHL match
Yaroslavl Lokomotiv beat the Shanghai Dragons in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.
The meeting in Yaroslavl ended with the score 2:0 (2:0, 0:0, 0:0). Alexander Volkov and Artur Kayumov scored goals. Lokomotiv goalkeeper Daniil Isaev stopped 23 shots and kept a clean sheet for the fourth time this season.
Bob Hartley’s team with 63 points is in second place in the Western Conference standings, the Dragons (43) are ninth.
Lokomotiv will host Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the next match on January 19, and Shanghai Dragons will play at home with Spartak Moscow on January 20.
