Panarin ranks sixth in assists among Russian players in NHL history.
Russian forward of the New York Rangers Artemy Panarin gave his 604th career assist in NHL regular season games.
Panarin had two goals and an assist in a 6-3 win over Philadelphia. With 604 assists, he is equal to Pavel Datsyuk.
Panarin, 34, ranked 104th in league history in assists in regular season games. He became sixth among Russian players in the league. The record holder among Russians, Evgeni Malkin (856), as well as Alexander Ovechkin (747), Sergei Fedorov (696), Nikita Kucherov (682) and Sergei Zubov (619) surpass Panarin.
The record among all NHL hockey players belongs to Wayne Gretzky: 1963 assists.
