The Danes defeated the national team of Kazakhstan in their opening match at the 2022 Ice Hockey World Cup
The Danish team defeated the team of Kazakhstan in the first round of the group stage of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.
Group A meeting ended with the score 9:1.
As part of the Danes, Joakim Blikfeld scored a hat-trick, Patrick Bjorkstrand, Megor Felix Scheel, Fredrik Storm, Julian Jacobsen, Oliver Larsen and Peter Regin also scored a puck. As part of Kazakhstan, Kirill Savitsky scored a goal.
In the second round, the Danes will play with Switzerland on May 15, and Kazakhstan will meet with France on the same day.
