Four-time Stanley Cup winner Phil Goyette dies
Former Montreal Canadiens forward Phil Goyette died at the age of 93, the press service of the NHL club reports.
Goyette’s cause of death has not been specified.
— It is with deep sadness that Montreal learned of the passing of Phil Goyette on January 17th. The family would like to thank the public for their condolences, the statement said.
Goyette won the Stanley Cup four times with Montreal (1957, 1958, 1959, 1960). The Canadian also played for the New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues and Buffalo Sabers, and had 674 points (207 goals + 467 assists) in 941 NHL games.
