Ozolin, Sharipzyanov and Da Costa became the best players of the week in the KHL
The Kontinental Hockey League named the best players of the last game week of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
Yaroslav Ozolin from Neftekhimik was recognized as the best goalkeeper, having won three victories in three matches of the week with a reliability coefficient of 0.33. In matches with Ak Bars (2:0) and Barys (1:0), Ozolin kept a clean sheet.
The best defender was Damir Sharipzyanov from Avangard, who scored 7 (4+3) points in three matches of the week. In the game with Traktor (5:2), Sharipzyanov scored a hat-trick.
The best forward was named Stefan Da Costa from Avtomobilist, who scored 7 (4+3) points in three matches with a usefulness rating of “+8”.
Torpedo forward Gleb Pugachev was recognized as the best newcomer, scoring 3 (2+1) points in three matches with a usefulness rating of “+4”.
