Torpedo extended its winning streak in the KHL by beating Lokomotiv away.
Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo beat Yaroslavl Lokomotiv (3:1) in the away match of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
Daniil Zhuravlev, Vasily Atanasov and Vladimir Tkachev scored goals for the winners; the hosts responded with a goal from defenseman Alexander Elesin.
For Torpedo, the victory was the fourth in a row; the Nizhny Novgorod team with 60 points occupy 4th place in the Western Conference. Lokomotiv (63 points) is second in the West.
