The Czech national team will play with the Swedish team in the group stage match of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.

The meeting will be held on Sunday in Tampere and will complete the program of the competition day in group B, the broadcast can be viewed on the Match TV channel, starting at 20:15 Moscow time.

The teams have already played one match in the group. The Czechs at the start with a score of 5:1 took over the UK team, the Swedish hockey players were stronger than the Austrian team – 3:1.

    The second day of competitions in the elite league of the U-20 World Youth Hockey Championship has ended.

    After Slovakia’s victory against Germany in Group A, the host Americans took to the ice and defeated the Swiss team with a score of 2:1. The third goal of the tournament came from forward Will Zellers.

    USA has two wins and first place in the group.

    However, there was almost a sensation in group B. The Canadian team put the finishing touches on Latvia in overtime and won 2:1. It is interesting that Latvia unexpectedly beat Klenov a year ago but could not repeat this success.

    The first matches of the U-20 World Junior Hockey Championship, held in the elite league in the USA, have ended.
