Canada defeated Italy at the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship
The Canadian team beat Italy with a big score in the second round match of the group stage of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.
The meeting ended with the score 6:1. The Canadians responded to Phil Pietroniro’s goal with goals from Travis Sunheim, Josh Anderson, Nicolas Roy, Kent Johnson, Daisin Mayo and Noah Gregor.
After two rounds, the Canadian team is in first place in Group A with 6 points, while Italy has not yet scored points and is in sixth place.
In the next match, Canada will play with Slovakia on May 16, Italy will play with Denmark a day later.
