The US team beat the Austrians in overtime at the World Hockey Championship, the Kazakh team lost to the French
Team USA defeated Austria in the group stage match of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.
The meeting ended with the score 3:2 (0:1, 1:1, 1:0, 1:0). As part of the Americans, goals were thrown by Kieffer Bellows, Adam Godette and Luke Hughes. The losers scored Benjamin Nisner and Paul Huber.
The United States is second in Group B with five points. The Austrians (1) are in sixth position.
