Sweden beat Great Britain to top the group at the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship
The Swedish national team defeated Great Britain in the third round match of the group stage of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.
The meeting ended with the score 6:0.
As part of the Swedes, Rasmus Asplund and Anton Bengtsson distinguished themselves with doubles, as well as Joakim Nordström and Rasmus Dalin.
After this meeting, the Swedish team scored 9 points and topped the Group B standings. The British are in last place with one point.
Sweden will play Finland next on 18 May, while the United Kingdom will play the United States a day later.
