The FHR confirmed that Zhamnov is likely to continue working in the Russian national team

The Chairman of the Board of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (FHR), Arkady Rotenberg, said that Alexei Zhamnov would probably continue to work as the head coach of the Russian national team.
– The head coach of the national team, most likely, will remain. We had such plans, he did not come for one year, ”Rothenberg told reporters.
Zhamnov led the national team in September 2021, under his leadership the team won the silver of the Beijing Olympic Games. During the friendly matches in Tula and at the tournament in St. Petersburg, the duties of the head coach of the national team were performed by Sergei Zubov.
