Germany snatched victory from Kazakhstan at the Ice Hockey World Championship 2022
The German national team defeated Kazakhstan in the sixth round match of the group stage of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.
Group A meeting ended in favor of the Germans with a score of 5:4.
As part of Kazakhstan, Roman Starchenko, Yegor Petukhov, Pavel Akolzin and Nikita Mikhailis recorded goals for themselves.
Jonas Müller, Leo Pfederl, Daniel Fischbuch, Lukas Reichel and Yazin Elitz scored goals for the German team.
After this match, Germany moved up to second place in the group with 15 points, while Kazakhstan is in the last eighth place without scoring points.
In the final round of the group stage, the Kazakhs will play with Italy on May 23, and the Germans will meet with Switzerland a day later.
