Norway lost to Sweden and lost chances to reach the playoffs of the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championship
The Swedish national team defeated the Norwegian team in the sixth round of the group stage of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.
Group B meeting in Tampere ended with the score 7:1. The Swedes scored Jakub Peterson and Rasmus Asplund, who scored twice, as well as William Nylander, Lukas Wallmark and Max Friberg. As part of Norway, the only puck on account of Tobias Fladeby.
The Swedes have 15 points and are in second place in Group B. The Norwegians are in sixth place with 5 points and have lost their chances of reaching the playoffs of the World Cup.
In the next match, Sweden will play with Latvia, and Norway with the USA. Both meetings will be held on May 24.
