Rangers cut playoff streak against Carolina as Shesterkin saves 43 shots

The New York Rangers beat the Carolina Hurricanes on home ice in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Second Round playoff series 3-1.

The winners included Mika Zibanejad, Chris Kreider and Tyler Mott. Artemiy Panarin scored an assist. Goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin saved 43 shots.

The guests scored Nino Niederreiter.

The Rangers went 1-2 in the series. The fourth match of the confrontation is scheduled for May 25.
