Canada – France: when does it start, where to watch the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championship match online

The national teams of Canada and France will play the final round of the group stage at the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championship.

The meeting of Group A in Helsinki will be held on Tuesday, May 24, you can watch the live broadcast on the TV channel “Match! Country”, the start of the broadcast is at 20:15 Moscow time.

Both teams have six games at this stage of the tournament. The Canadians won four victories and suffered two defeats, the team is fourth in the table with 12 points.

    Storm hockey club announced its decision to suspend participation in the Ukrainian Championship. The Odessa team had not come to the Krizhinka match before.

    At the same time, Storm denied that the issue was related to financial problems and expressed distrust of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation.

    Statement from HC Storm

    “Due to systematic violation of the principles of equality and justice in competitions, Shtor hockey club expressed its distrust in the leadership of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation and decided to suspend its participation in the Ukrainian Championship.”

    There was already a situation this season when Krizhinka suspended its participation in the championship due to referee problems.

    Junior World Hockey Championship. Great comeback from the USA, 9 goals and hat-trick from Canada

    Another day of play in the elite league of the World Junior Hockey Championship has ended.

    The USA team beat Slovakia with a score of 6:5, with big problems. The host team of the tournament lost 0:2 and 1:3 but managed to come back and win.

    Forward Tomas Hrenko scored a double for the Slovaks, scoring three goals in the last match. And the Americans have a double thank you to James Hagens.

    USA and Sweden are leaders in the group with 9 points.

    In the other group, Canada beat Denmark 9-1, while forward Gavin McKenna is expected to score a hat-trick and become number 1 in the 2026 draft.
