Avangard fired the coach of the club academy after the scandalous video

Avangard Omsk has completed cooperation with club academy coach Egor Shastin following an internal investigation into the publication of a video featuring a specialist online, the club’s press service reports.
Earlier, a video appeared on the hockeymans78 Telegram channel, in which the coach, while intoxicated, communicates with young Avangard hockey players and, using obscene expressions, promises one of the players that he will not be included in the squad for the next games.
“Shastin’s actions were found to be incompatible with the values and principles of the Avangard HC Academy, so a decision was made to end cooperation with this specialist,” the statement says.
