Olympic champion Andronov became a player of Yaroslavl Lokomotiv

Former CSKA captain Sergei Andronov will continue his career at Lokomotiv, the press service of the Yaroslavl club informs on social networks.
The 32-year-old striker signed a contract with the railway workers until the end of the 2023/2024 season.
Andronov has been playing for CSKA since 2009 and became the club’s record holder for the number of matches played (606). As an army captain, he won the Gagarin Cup twice (2019, 2022).
Earlier in the KHL, the forward also played for the Togliatti Lada. In total, he played 653 league matches and scored 156 (91+65) points.
As part of the Russian national team, the striker won the gold of the 2018 Olympic Games.
