Ice Hockey World Cup. Slovakia knocks Denmark out of the top 4 with 7 goals, USA wins
Denmark had a chance to qualify for the quarterfinals after defeating Canada, but lost 1:7 in the fight against Slovakia, taking 4th place and finishing the tournament.
Switzerland, Germany, Canada and Slovakia advanced to the quarter-finals from Group A.
In Group B, the USA defeated Norway. Finland, Sweden, the Czech Republic and the USA advanced to the quarter-finals.
