Ice Hockey World Cup. Switzerland won the group, Sweden won
The Swiss national ice hockey team finished the group stage by defeating Germany. The team won all 7 matches and advanced to the quarterfinals in the first place.
In the quarter-finals Switzerland will most likely play against the USA. Germany finished second in the group.
In the Group B match, Sweden defeated Latvia. The Swedes advanced to the quarter-finals from either first or second place, while Latvia failed to reach the quarter-finals.
