Slovakia national team defeated Denmark team in the group stage match of the Ice Hockey World Championship. The match, which took place on 24 May, ended in favor of the Slovaks 7:1.
Among the winners, the doubles were determined by Tomasz Tatar and Pavol Regenda, and Mislav Rosandich, Juraj Slafkovsky and Szymon Nemets also scored in the puck.
This victory brought Slovakia into the playoffs: the team finished fourth in Group A with 12 points, trailing behind as the Danes won a head-to-head match.
