Canadians bounced back from 0:3 and defeated the Swedes in overtime in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Ice Hockey World Cup
Team Canada beat the Swedes in overtime in the quarterfinals of the World Championship.
The meeting ended with the victory of the Canadians in overtime – 4:3. Carl Klingberg, William Nylander and Max Friberg scored goals for the Swedish team, Ryan Graves, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Matthew Barzel and Drake Baterson scored goals for the Canadians.
Earlier, the Czech Republic team reached the semi-finals of the World Cup, which defeated the Germans – 4: 1. The composition of the remaining quarter-final pairs: Switzerland – USA, Finland – Slovakia.
The World Championship takes place in the Finnish cities of Tampere and Helsinki from 13 to 29 May.
