Commission of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan will study cases of violence against a 10-year-old hockey player

A commission will be set up in the Republic of Bashkortostan to study cases of sexual violence in the youth sports school of the Neftekamsk HC Toros, said Ruslan Khabibov, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the region.

Earlier, the founder of the law firm “Gordon and Sons” Ekaterina Gordon said that during the championship of Russia among young men “Volga Region 2010 b. Cup of the Volga Region” there were cases of sexual violence against a 10-year-old hockey player. The lawyer claims that one of the team members invited his teammates to “play sex games”, their client refused, after which other teenagers forced him to return. The victim did not obey, he was “beaten and abused”, in the following days of the tournament the boy continued to be mocked.

– Firstly, this information concerns a minor. Secondly, law enforcement agencies are currently dealing with this incident. Thirdly, whether it was real or not, only they can find out. In addition, we, as an executive body in the field of sports, will create a commission on this issue and will deal with it within our powers, we will analyze it. Based on this, we will draw certain conclusions and work out the situation, ”Match TV quotes Khabibov as saying.
