Ice Hockey World Cup. Finland is back, USA eliminated Switzerland
In the Ice Hockey World Championship, Finland – Slovakia, Switzerland – USA quarter-finals were played.
The Finnish national team almost flew out of Slovakia, but the owners of the ice, losing 0:2, managed to make a comeback and win with a score of 4:2.
However, Switzerland could not cope with the USA team, which passed their group without any problems, despite 7 wins in the group stage.
The Americans won 3-0 and advanced to the semifinals against Finland.
Canada and the Czech Republic have previously advanced to the semi-finals.
