The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 in Game 5 of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Vincent Trochek, Teuvo Teräväinen and Andrey Svechnikov distinguished themselves among the winners.
The guests scored Mika Zibanejad. Artemiy Panarin scored with an assist. Goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin saved 31 shots.
Carolina leads 3-2 in the best-of-four series. The sixth match of the confrontation is scheduled for May 29.
