Forward Zhafyarov said goodbye to the fans of “Torpedo”

Torpedo forward Damir Zhafyarov thanked the fans, team and staff for four unforgettable seasons in Nizhny Novgorod.
Earlier, Avangard general manager Alexei Volkov said that the Omsk team was negotiating with Zhafyarov.
– Dear friends. I want to thank the hockey club “Torpedo” for the time that I was lucky enough to spend in it. Torpedo is a club with a soul. I am very proud to have had these four unforgettable seasons in my career. I want to thank all the club staff, management, staff, coaching staff and teammates for this time.
Special thanks to the fans who have always been with us and supported us at every game. Thank you everybody. You are forever in my heart. Nizhny Novgorod is called it, – the hockey player wrote on social networks.
Zhafyarov is 28 years old, in total he has 514 games in the KHL, in which he scored 258 (111 goals + 147 assists) points.
