SKA signed a contract with forward Zhafyarov

Petersburg SKA signed an agreement with striker Damir Zhafyarov, the press service of the hockey club reports.
The contract with the 28-year-old player is for two seasons.
– The transition to SKA is a new and very serious stage. Glad to join a team that always sets itself the highest goals. I know that St. Petersburg has a great arena and a good base, a strong team and a professional coaching staff. I look forward to the first training camp and matches. I will try to show my best hockey and will do everything to help the team achieve the highest results,” Zhafyarov said.
Last season, Zhafyarov played for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, scoring 45 points (18 goals and 27 assists) in 47 KHL regular season games. Previously, the striker defended the colors of Metallurg Novokuznetsk, CSKA Moscow, Sibir Novosibirsk and Admiral from Vladivostok.
