Earlier, the founder of the law firm “Gordon and Sons” Ekaterina Gordon said that during the championship of Russia among young men “Volga Region 2010 b. Cup of the Volga Region” there were cases of sexual violence against a 10-year-old hockey player. The lawyer claims that one of the team members invited his teammates to “play sex games”, their client refused, after which other teenagers forced him to return. The victim did not obey, he was “beaten and abused”, in the following days of the tournament the boy continued to be mocked.
– In connection with the publications that appeared in the media about the incident at the tournament in Tuymazy with the participation of pupils of the sports school of HC “Toros”, the club considers it necessary to report the following.
From the moment the parents of a minor pupil of our club applied about the commission of illegal actions against him, the management of HC “Toros” was in interaction with the parents of the injured child.
Immediately after the appeal of the parents of the minor, the club conducted an appropriate internal investigation, as a result of which the coach of the sports school of HC Toros, born in 2010. was removed from the team. At the same time, three pupils of the Toros-2010 team were suspended from classes for committing offenses that discredited them as representatives of the Toros HC sports school. After the coaching council of the sports school, it was decided to expel these students.
From the very beginning of the events, given the minority of the participants, we tried to maintain appropriate confidentiality. For the Toros hockey club, it is important that our pupils observe the correct moral and general civic values. The club, of course, condemns illegal actions in any form against pupils and suppresses such cases.
At the moment, the Neftekamsk inter-district department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan is conducting an appropriate check, the club is in full cooperation with law enforcement agencies. Further comments will be given on the results of this review, the statement said.
