The Finnish national team defeated the US team and became the first finalist of the 2022 Ice Hockey World Cup
The Finnish national ice hockey team defeated the US team in the semi-finals of the home world championship.
The meeting ended with the score 4:3. The winners scored goals from Miro Heiskanen, Sakari Manninen, Sami Vatanen and Yoel Armia. The Americans scored Nate Schmidt, Sean Farrell and Adam Godette.
Finland’s opponent in the final, which will take place on May 29, will be determined later on Saturday in the Canada-Czech Republic match.
