Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl scores a hat-trick against the Calgary Flames in Game 5 of the NHL Second Round Series. At the end of the three periods, the score was tied – 3:3, the teams will have to overtime.

The 26-year-old German extended his winning streak to 5 games with at least 3 points in the NHL playoffs. Draisaitl had previously become the first player in league history to score 3+ points in 4 consecutive playoff games.

Now Leon is one game away from repeating his record 3+ point winning streak in NHL history. Success is shared between Jari Kurri (6 games in the 1992/93 season), Wayne Gretzky (1985/86) and Bobby Orr (1970/71), but all produced such a series during the regular season.

Recall that the Oilers led the series with the Flames – 3-1.
