Goldobin is likely to stay at Metallurg – media

Forward Nikolai Goldobin is likely to continue to play for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, despite rumors about the player’s departure to the NHL, according to Metaratings.
As the newspaper notes, the 26-year-old striker will sign a new two-year contract with Magnitogorsk.
Goldobin played in the NHL for the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks, played 125 games in the North American League, scored 46 (19+27) points.
In the KHL, the hockey player played for CSKA, and in December 2020 he became a Metallurg player. In the 2021/22 season, Goldobin played 42 games in the regular season, earned 39 (16+23) points, scored 18 (8+10) points in the playoffs in 23 games.
