The New York Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals 6-2.
As part of the winners, a double was scored by Filip Khytil. Chris Kreider, Frank Vatrano, Mika Zibanejad and Artemiy Panarin scored once more, who also made an assist. Goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin saved 37 shots.
The guests scored Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat. Mikhail Sergachev made one assist. Goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevsky saved 28 shots.
The Rangers led the series to four wins. The second match of the confrontation is scheduled for June 4.
