Russian Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov became the first player in the club’s history to score 150 career points in the NHL playoffs.
On Saturday, Tampa defeated the New York Rangers in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup semifinal series 2-1. Kucherov made an assist.
In the current Stanley Cup, the Russian scored 23 points (7 goals + 16 assists) points with a +4 utility score.
Tampa won the series 4-2 on aggregate to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Colorado Avalanche.
